MedPoint Group expands its collaboration with BTI Biotechnology and will distribute Endoret® (PRGF®) in other medical specialties besides Ophthalmology.
BTI develops Endoret® (PRGF®) regenerative technology for personalized treatments based on the patient's own biological material in different pathologies. It is a plasma rich in growth factors that, thanks to its great versatility, can be applied in different therapeutic areas.
From this year onwards, the MedPoint group, through Farmamix, assumes the challenge of managing the diffusion of this product also in the areas of Traumatology, Reproductive Medicine, Aesthetics and Dermatology, in Public Hospitals all over Spain. MedicalMix will continue to be in charge of the commercialization of this technology only for Ophthalmology.
Traumatology and Reproductive Medicine
The application of this regenerative medicine technology has proven to be an effective treatment for the treatment of osteoarthritis, tendon, ligament and muscle injuries, as well as for the recovery of fractures and surgical interventions.
The application of this plasma rich in growth factors in reproductive medicine focuses on endometrial conditioning or for the treatment of low ovarian reserve. In this way it can allow new ways for the recovery of fertility.
On the other hand, thanks to the characteristics of this product it favors the increase of vascularization, decrease of inflammation and reduction of fibrosis. The use of Endoret® can be useful for the regeneration of ovarian follicles.
Aesthetics and Dermatology
As for the application in aesthetic medicine, Endoret® is applied in a localized manner in damaged areas or to combat the signs of aging. Thanks to its characteristics, it favors cell renewal and consequently improves the general condition of the skin.
In relation to its application in dermatology, thanks to the versatility of this technology it is possible to obtain different formulations that contribute to the regeneration of dermal tissues and improve the quality of the skin.
